Sara Roahen writes, edits, coaches, teaches, and helps authors create and publish books. She is the author of the memoir, Gumbo Tales: Finding My Place at the New Orleans Table and two other books. Her next book, Memories on the Page: A Year of Tips and Prompts for Memoir and Life Story Writers, will be published in late 2026

Mar 19 @ 11am PT / 2pm ET — Mining the Depths Writing Circle with Ronit Plank

Ronit Plank is a writer, teacher, and editor whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, Poets & Writers, The Rumpus, Salon, Hippocampus, The New York Times, and elsewhere. She is the author of the memoir, When She Comes Back, and the host of the podcast Let’s Talk Memoir and the Substack Let’s Talk Memoir. Find her on social media @ronitplank.

Mar 24 @ 3pm PT / 6pm ET — Grant's Generative Writing

Grant Faulkner is the cofounder of Memoir Nation. He is the former Executive Director of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and the co-founder of 100 Word Story. He is the author of multiple books, including the recent somewhere out there in the distance. He is a passionate advocate for creative community and the power of showing up to the page.

April 7 @ 10am PT / 1pm ET — Craft Corner with Brooke Warner

Brooke Warner is the cofounder of Memoir Nation, publisher of She Writes Press, and author of six books. She’s a TEDx speaker and weekly podcaster (with Grant Faulkner). Brooke teaches memoir and publishing workshops, and is a passionate advocate for authors and for writing in community.
